Ford er klar med tre lynhurtige biler til 24-timers løb
Sæsonen for motorløb sparkes i gang i denne weekend med det internationale 24-timers løb på ’Daytona International Speedway’ i Florida. Her er Ford repræsenteret med tre pladser i form af to nye hæsblæsende Mustang GT3 IMSA-racerbiler og en vild Mustang GT4.
Ford Performance og Multimatic Motorsports står bag de to nye Mustang GT3 IMSA-racerbiler, der skal dyste ved dette års løb i GTD Pro-klassen. Mustang GT4 skal køre i IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge og IMSA VP Racing Sports Car Challenge, mens Mustang GT3 også opstiller i GTD-klassen.
- Vi er klar til at slippe Ford Mustang GT3- og GT4-bilerne løs i en meget spændende tid for sporten. Mange bemærkelsesværdige øjeblikke har fundet sted gennem tiden ved ’Daytona International Speedway’, og vi kan ikke vente med at vende retur og igen konkurrere til IMSA, siger Mark Rushbrook, Global Director of Ford Performance Motorsports.
Alle bilerne er udviklet som en del af et fælles motorsportsprogram, som Ford Performance og den mangeårige racersamarbejdspartner, Multimatic Motorsports, står bag.
Lørdag den 27. januar går starten ved det 24-timer lange løb på ’Daytona International Speedway’.
